FUSS Salon
Both Helen and Jo have 26 years experience between them working within the hair and beauty industry including several years working together managing a hair and beauty spa. They are both ambitious individuals and knew that ultimately they wanted to open their own business. They have a strong desire to be responsible for providing a salon where the highest quality for the customer is priority and to offer the very best in beauty/holistic treatments and hair services under one roof.
They had seen the way salons were run, both good and bad, and felt they wanted to create a new offering whereby the services they provide are at the forefront of the industry but at the same time not out of reach for the average customers’ budget. They also felt very strongly that in order to do this properly they would need to create a business model that embraced the highest standards in hygiene, health and safety, client care, staff training and all other aspects of running a successful business. They knew they were capable of strong leadership and knew they could create a salon that they would feel passionately about and their customers could relate to - this meant creating the FUSS Salon brand identity.
This was not just about process and procedure; it was about using their personalities to create the right atmosphere in the right environment to make their clients feel welcome, comfortable and happy. Since opening in 2004, both Helen and Joeann have become fully qualified TIGI Ambassadors.
